  • 简介:TneglobalchangeofclimateanditsinfluenceonthecroppingsysteminChinahavebeeninvestigatedinthispaper.ItisfoundthatthetemperaturewasincreasedduringthelastdecadeandtheprecipitationdecreasedinnorthernChinaandincreasedinsouthernChinaduringthelast30years.Thesealevelhasbeenrisingbyabout21—26cminthecoastalareassouthof30°NinChinaduringthelast100years.Themostofresultsassimulatedbythegeneralcirculationmodels(GCMs)showthatthetemperatureincreasewouldamounttoabout2°—4°CinthemostpartsofChinaandprecipitationandsoilmoisturemightbedecreasedinnorthernChinaandincreasedinsourthernChinaduetodoublingofcarbondioxide(CO2).TheeffectsofdoubledCO2ongrowthperiodandclimaticyieldcapabilityinChinahavebeenestimatedroughly.ItisshownthattheregionsofthegrowthperiodinChinawouldbemovednorthwardaboutfivedegreeslatitudeandtheclimaticyieldcapabilitymightbeincreasedbyabout10%inthemostpartsofChina.

  • 简介:Inthispaper,experimentresultsaboutEastAsiaclimatefromfiveCGCMsaredescribed.Theabilityofthemodelstosimulatepresentclimateandthesimulatedresponsetoincreasedcarbondioxidearebothcovered.Theresultsindicatethatallmodelsshowsubstantialchangesinclimatewhencarbondioxideconcentrationsaredoubled.Inparticular,thestrongsurfacewarmingathighlatitudesinwinterandthesignificantincreaseofsummerprecipitationinthemonsoonareaareproducedbyallmodels.RegionalevaluationresultsshowthatthesefiveCGCMsareparticularlygoodinsimulatingspatialdistributionofpresentclimate.ThemaincharacteristicsoftheseasonalmeanH500,SAT,MSLPfieldcanbesimulatedbymostCGCMs.ButtherearesignificantsystematicerrorsinSAT,MSLP,HS00fieldsinmostmodels.Onthewhole,DKRZOPYCisthebestinsimulatingthepresentclimateinEastAsia.

  • 简介:TheabruptchangesofzonalcirculationintheTibetanPlateau(TP)regionandtheirlikelycausesarederivedfromNationalCentersforEnvironmentalPredictionandtheNationalCenterforAtmosphericResearchreanalysisdata.ThezonalcirculationovertheTPabruptlychangedinsummer(31stpentad)andwinter(59thpentad).Theswitchfromsummertowintercirculationischaracterizedbyasuddennorthwardshiftofthewesterliesandthezero-velocitycurveanddisappearanceofthewesterlyjet.Thewinter-summerswitchischaracterizedbythereversepattern.Therefore,thecirculationconversionbetweensummerandwintercanbejudgedfromthepositionofthezero-velocitycurve.Curveslocatednorthof20°NindicatesummercirculationovertheTPandviceversa.TheabruptchangeofzonalcirculationismainlycausedbythethermodynamiceffectoftheTP.InJune,thiseffectcausesahugemonsooncirculationcellextendingfromtheTPtolowlatitudes.Consequently,thewesterliesjumptothenorthaseasterliesdevelop.Thisprocess,whichisenhancedbythestrongnortherlyinCoriolis,establishesthesummercirculation.InOctober,theHadleycellrecursasthethermaleffectsoftheTPdiminish,thewesterliesrushsouthward,andthewintercirculationisestablished.

  • 简介:Becauseofquickdevelopmentofcities,theupdateofurbanGISdataisveryimportant.Changedetectionisthebaseofautomaticorsemi-automaticdataupdate.Onewayofchangedetectionsinurbanareaisbasedonoldandnewaerialimagesacquiredindifferentdurations.Thecorrespondingtheoryandexperimentsareintroducedandanalyzedinthispaper.Themainprocedureincludesfourstages.Thenewandoldimageshavetoberegisteredfirstly.Thenimagematching,basedonthemaximumcorrelationcoefficient,isperformedbetweenregisteredimagesafterthelowcontrastareashavebeenremoved.Theregionswithlowmatchingqualityareextractedascandidatechangedareas.Thirdly,theGaussian-Laplacianoperatorisusedtodetectedgesincandidatechangedareasonboththeregisteredimages,andthestraightlinesaredetectedbyHoughtransformation.Finally,thechangedhousesandroadscanbedetectedonthebasisofstraightlinematchingincandidatechangedareasbetweenregisteredimages.

  • 简介:Theeffectsofverticalwindshearontropicalcyclone(TC)intensitychangeareexaminedbasedontheTCdatafromtheChinaMeteorologicalAdministrationandtheNCEPreanalysisdailydatafrom2001to2006.First,theinfluenceofwindshearbetweendifferentverticallevelsandaveragesindifferenthorizontalareasarecompared.Theresultsindicatethattheeffectofwindshearbetween200and850hPaaveragedwithina200-800kmannulusonTCintensitychangeislargerthananyothercalculatedverticalwindshear.High-latitudeandintenseTCstendtobelesssensitivetotheeffectsofVWSthanlow-latitudeandweakTCs.TCsexperiencetimelagsbetweentheimpositionoftheshearandtheweakeninginTCintensity.Averticalshearof8-9m/s(9-10m/s)wouldweakenTCintensitywithin60h(48h).Averticalsheargreaterthan10m/swouldweakenTCintensitywithin6h.Finally,astatisticalTCintensitypredictionschemeisdevelopedbyusingpartialleastsquaresregression,whichproducesskillfulintensityforecastswhenpotentialpredictorsincludefactorsrelatedtotheverticalwindshear.Analysisofthestandardizedregressioncoefficientsfurtherconfirmstheobtainedstatisticalresults.

  • 简介:Basedontheanalysesonamplitudesofhistoricalvariationoftemperatureandprecipitationinthepast500yearsandlatest100years,accordingtotheregionalclimatechangescenariosforChinaestimatedbycompositeGCM,thepotentialimpactsofclimatechangeoncroppingsystemsinChinainfuturearesimulatedandassessedusingthecroppingsystemmodeldevelopmentspeciallyfortheChinesecroppingpatterns.Itisshownthatundertheprojectedfutureclimatechangeby2050themostpartsofthepresentdoublecroppingareawouldbereplacedbythedifferenttriplecroppingpatternswhilethecurrentdoublecroppingareawouldshifttowardsthecentralpartofthepresentsinglecroppingarea.Moreexplicitly,thenorthernboundaryoftriplecroppingareawouldshiftfromitscurrentborderattheChangjingRivertotheHuangheRiver,ashiftofmorethan5degreesoflatitude.Andtheshiftofmultiplecroppingareasleadstoasignificantdecreaseofsinglecroppingarea.Furthermore,consideringthechangesmentionedaboveincombinationwiththelikelynegativebalanceofprecipitationandevapotranspirationand,therefore,increaseofmoisturestress(i.e.lesswateravailability),aswellasthepossibleincreaseofheatstressdisasteranddecreaseofLGS(lengthofgrowingseason),thepotentialimplicationofclimatechangeforagricultureinChinaarealsoanalyzedroughlyinthispaper.Asaresult,however,itisstillverydifficulttoreachaspecificconclusionthatthefutureclimatechangewillhefavorableorunfavorabletofarminChinabecauseofthecomplicatedChinesefarmingpatterns,thecomplex-varioussocialandeconomicenvironmentofagriculturaldevelopmentand,especially,agreatscientificuncertaintiesintheinvestigation/predictionofclimatechange.
