  • 简介:Thispaperdealswiththedesignofanoutputfeedbackpredictivecontrollerforinductionmotors.Thefundamentalinterestoftheproposedcontrolleristhecapabilityofdecouplingthemechanicalspeedandtherotorfluxes,withoutdegradationagainstthevariationofrotorresistanceandloadtorque.Hence,thecontributionistoapplytwoestimationproceduresinordertoachievethisgoal.Namely,anunknowninputobserver(UIO)isusedfortheconstanttimeestimationwhereasaheuristicsolutionisexploitedfortheloadtorqueupdate.Moreover,rotorfluxcomponentsarerecoveredasanunavailablestateofthesystem.Effectivenessoftheproposedobserversandtheperformanceofthecontrollerareconfirmedbysimulationresults.

  • 简介:Thispaperpresentsareal-timemechanismtotoleratefaultsoccurringinawindturbine(WT)system.ThissystemiscomposedofaFASTcodedsimulatordesignedbytheU.S.NationalRenewableEnergyLaboratory.Thedemonstratedmechanismliesunderthetaxonomyofactivefault-tolerantcontrol(FTC)systems,namelyonlineredesignbasedapproach.Intheproposedapproach,wedonotuseanyaprioriinformationaboutthemodeloftheturbineinreal-time.Infact,weuseonlinemeasurementsgeneratedbytheWT.Basedonthegivencontrolspecifications,andtheobservedmeasurementanoccurredfaultisaccommodatedbyreconfiguringtheonlinecontrollersuchthattheWTgeneratesratedpowerevenunderfaultyconditions.Second,noexplicitfaultdiagnosis(FD)moduleisusedinthisapproach.Asaresult,issuesofmodeluncertainty,falsealarms,etc.associatedwithanintegratedFDandcontrollerreconfigurationapproachtoFTCsystemsarenotexperiencedhere.
