简介:Metaltransferisanimportantphenomenoninmetalinertgas(MIG)arcweldingwithlongitudinalalternatingmagneticfield.Itisofgreatsignificancetoobservethemetaltransfermodesunderdifferentexcitatorycurrentsandfrequencies.However,itisverydifficulttoviewthemetaltransferprocessdirectlyduringwelding,duetothestronginterferencefromthearclight.Toobtaintherelationshipbetweenthemetaltransfermodesandthedifferentmagneticfields,ahigh-speedvideocamerawasusedtoacquiretheimagesofglobules.Differentmetaltransfermodesundertheconditionsofdifferentmagneticfieldsandweldingparameterswerestudied.Theexperimentshowsclearimagesofdroplettransferaswellasinfluenceoflongitudinalmagneticfieldonbothmetaltransferandglobuleshape.
