简介:Basedonthe1stordercnoidalwavetheory,thewavediffractionaroundthepiergroupinshallowwaterisstudiedinthispaper.Theformulasforcalculatingthenonlinearwaveforcesarealsopresentedhere.Inordertoverifythetheoreticalresults,modeltestsareconductedinthewaveflumeinTheStateKeyLaboratoryofCoastalandOffshoreEngineeringlocatedinDalianUniversityofTechnology.TherangeofthewaveparametersintheexperimentsischaracteristicwaveperiodTg/d1/2=8.08-22.86,characteristicwaveheightH/d=0.10.45.Theresultsobtainedfromtheexperimentsagreewiththetheoreticalresultsquitewell.Itisshownthat,inshallowwaterthenonlinearwaveforcesactingonapiergrouparegreaterthanthosecalculatedbylinearwavetheory,thevalueofincrementinwaveforceincreaseswiththeincreasesofthenonlinearityofthewave.Inthewaverangestudiedinthispaper,thenonlinearwaveforcecanreachover4timestheforcecalculatecdbylinearwavetheory.Thus,itissuggestedthat,whenTg/d1/2>8,thewaveforceonthepiersinthepiergroupinshallowwatershouldbecalculatedbyusingthecnoidalwavetheory.

简介:Decreasingtherisksandgeohazardsassociatedwithdrillingengineeringinhigh-temperaturehigh-pressure(HTHP)geologicsettingsbeginswiththeimplementationofpre-drillingpredictiontechniques(PPTs).ToimprovetheaccuracyofgeopressurepredictioninHTHPhydrocarbonreservoirsoffshoreHainanIsland,wemadeacomprehensivesummaryofcurrentPPTstoidentifyexistingproblemsandchallengesbyanalyzingtheglobaldistributionofHTHPhydrocarbonreservoirs,theresearchstatusofPPTs,andthegeologicsettinganditsHTHPformationmechanism.OurresearchresultsindicatethattheHTHPformationmechanisminthestudyareaiscausedbymultiplefactors,includingrapidloading,diapirintrusions,hydrocarbongeneration,andthethermalexpansionofporefluids.Duetothismulti-factorinteraction,acloudofHTHPhydrocarbonreservoirshasdevelopedintheYing-QiongBasin,butonlytraditionalPPTshavebeenimplemented,basedontheassumptionofconditionsthatdonotconformtotheactualgeologicenvironment,e.g.,Bellotti’slawandEaton’slaw.Inthispaper,wefocusontheseissues,identifysomechallengesandsolutions,andcallforfurtherPPTresearchtoaddressthedrawbacksofpreviousworksandmeetthechallengesassociatedwiththedeepwatertechnologygap.Inthisway,wehopetocontributetotheimprovedaccuracyofgeopressurepredictionpriortodrillingandprovidesupportforfutureHTHPdrillingoffshoreHainanIsland.
简介:Alaskapollockisanimportantproteinsourcewhichisextensivelyusedinthefoodindustry.Pollockproteinisolates(PPI)withsignificantlyenrichedproteincontentscouldbepreparedusingisoelectricsolubilization/precipitation(ISP)processing;however,thefunctionalpropertiesofthisprocessislimitedbythelargeamountofwater-insolubleproteins.Inthisstudy,weinvestigatedtheinfluenceofhighhydrostaticpressure(HHP)treatmentonthesolubilityandstructuralchangesofPPI.PPIobtainedusingISPistreatedwithhydrostaticpressuresof200,300,400,and500MPaforupto15min,andtheHHP-treatedsampleswereobservedtoexhibitsignificantlyimprovedsolubilities.FurtherbiochemicalassaysrevealthatthecontinuousHHPtreatmentsreducethecontentsoffreesulfhydrylgroupsandpromotetheformationofmacromoleculeswithbetterwatersolubilities,whichmayinducethesolubilityimprovementsoftheHHP-treatedPPI.OurresultsindicatethatHHPcanbeutilizedtoeffectivelypreparehighlywater-solubleAlaskapollockproteininfoodprocessing.

简介:Thegeophysicalmodelfunction(GMF)describestherelationshipbetweenabackscatteringandaseasurfacewind,andenablesawindvectorretrievalfrombackscatteringmeasurements.ItisclearthattheGMFplaysanimportantroleinanoceanwindvectorretrieval.TheperformanceoftheexistingKu-bandmodelfunctionQSCAT-1isconsideredtobeeffectiveatlowandmoderatewindspeedranges.However,intheconditionsofhigherwindspeeds,theexistingalgorithmsdivergealarmingly.owingtothelackofinsitudatarequiredfordevelopingtheGMFforthehighwindconditions,theQSCAT-1appearstooverestimatethes0,whichresultsinunderestimatingthewindspeeds.Severalmatch-upQuikSCATandspecialsensormicrowave/imager(SSM/I)windspeedmeasurementsofthetyphoonsoccurringinthewestPacificOceanareanalyzed.TheresultsshowthattheSSM/Iwindexhibitsbetteragreementwiththe'besttrack'analysiswindspeedthantheQuikSCATwindretrievedusingQSCAT-1.Onthebasisofthisevaluation,acorrectionoftheQSCAT-1modelfunctionforwindspeedabove16m/sisproposed,whichusesthecollocatedSSM/IandQuikSCATmeasurementsasatrainingset,andaneuralnetworkapproachasamultiplenonlinearregressiontechnologytechnology.InordertovalidatetherevisedGMFforhighwinds,themodifiedGMFwasappliedtotheQuikSCATobservationsofHurricaneIOKE.ThewindestimatedbytheQuikSCATforTyphoonIOKEin2006wasimprovedwiththemaximumwindspeedreaching55m/s.AnerroranalysiswasperformedusingthewindfieldsfromtheHollandmodelasthesurfacetruth.TheresultsshowanimprovedagreementwiththeHollandmodelwindwhencomparedwiththewindestimatedusingtheQSCAT-1.However,largebiasstillexisted,indicatingthattheeffectsofrainmustbeconsideredforfurtherimprovement.
