简介:X-rayphotoelectronspectroscopyandRamanspectroscopywereusedtodeterminethechemicalchangeofpolyphenylsilsesquioxane(PPSQ)duringpyrolysisinflowingnitrogen.TwotemperaturerangeswerefoundforpyrolysedPPSQbelowandabove600℃,respectively.TheformerisrelatedtotherearrangementofPPSQbackboneandthelatterreflectsthatmostofbackbonestructureofPPSQmightbebrokendownandunorganized.CarbonformedincarbonizationofPPSQsamplepyrolysedat900℃shouldbesp3bondedcarbonwithcrystallitesizeeffectsordefects.
