简介:Inrecentyears,scientistshavebeenincreasinglyinterestedintheenergyembodiedintradedgoodsamongcountries.Inthisarticle,thedirectenergyintensitiesinvariouseconomicsectorsofChinawerecalculatedwiththedataofenergyconsumptionandoutputvalueofeachsector,andtheinput-outputtablewasusedtoestimatetheexternalenergyconsumption.Thetotalenergyintensityofallsectorswasthenobtained.Fromthedataofinternationaltrade,theenergyembodiedingoodstradeofChinawasestimatedfortheperiodof1994-2001.Duringthisperiod,theaverageenergyintensityofimportedgoodswasalwayshigherthanthatofexportedones.Asacountrywithasurplusininternationalgoodstrade,Chinaactuallyimportednetembodiedenergyinthepastfewyears.Thenetembodiedenergyimportedwasatthesamemagnitudeoftheimportedenergyintheformoffossilfuels.
简介:Inrecentyears,China'senergydemandandGreenhousegas(GHG)emissionshavegrownveryfast,quiteanamountofwhichwasexportedasenergyembodiedingoodsininternationaltraderatherthanconsumeddomestically.Startingfromtheconceptofembodiedenergy,basedoninput-outputenergyanalysisapproach,inthispapertheenergyembodiedingoodsininternationaltradeofChinaduringtheperiodfrom2001to2006iscalculated.TheresultsshowthatalthoughChinahasbecomeanetimporterofpetroleumsince1993,Chinaisanetexporterofembodiedenergyduetointernationaltradeingoods.In2002,thetotalamountofenergyembodiedinexportedgoodswasabout410milliontce(tonofcoalequivalent,hereinafterreferredtoas'tce').Eliminatingtheamountofenergyembodiedinimportedgoodsofabout170milliontce,thenetexportofembodiedenergywasabout240milliontce,accountingfor16%oftheaggregateprimaryenergyconsumptionofthatveryyearinChina,andthenetexportofembodiedemissionswasabout150milliontonsofcarbon.WiththerapidgrowthofChina'sinternationaltrade,assumingnostructuralinput-outputchangesofamongsectors,in2006thenetexportofembodiedenergywentuptoabout630milliontce,anincreaseof162%over2002.Inaddition,thispaperalsoanalyzesthepossiblesourcesoferrorincalculation,andalsodiscussesthepolicyimplicationsaccordingtotheresultofthecalculation.

简介:Embodiedcarbonintradehasattractedtheattentionofresearchers,developers,andindustryleadersworldwide,asithasbecomeaconsiderablesourceoftradeconflict.BecauseChinaistheworld’sleadingcarbon-emittingcountry,itisimportanttostudythechangetrendsofembodiedCO2inChinesetradetoidentifykeyinfluencingfactors.ThispaperinvestigatesthetradeembodiedCO2inChina,withspecialfocusontheproductionprocessandmaterialsofeachindustrialsectorfrom1990to2013.Thisstudywasconductedbyusinganinput-outputmodel,whichanalyzesthespecificcausesofperiodicwaves.Ourfindingssuggestthatthemachinemanufacturingsectorproducedthelargestshareofemissions,whereasthemetalandnon-metalsectorhasthehighestemissionintensity.Moreover,thetotalemissionquantitiesintradeincreasedfrom612to3331milliontonsin1990to2013,aperiodcharacterizedbydecentralizedtrendsinemissionsexportedtotradepartners.Wealsoemployedthelog-meanDivisiaindex(LMDI)modeltodecomposethecarbonemissionschangesintoexportstructure,exportscale,energystructure,andenergyintensity,andestimatetheinfluenceofthesefactorsatanumberoftimepoints.Wefoundthatenergyintensitycurbsemissionsincrease,andthatexportscaleexpansionisthestrongestdrivingforce.
简介:Thespin-polarizedlinearconductancespectrumandcurrent-voltagecharacteristicsinafour-quantum-dotringembodiedintoAharonov-Bohm(AB)interferometerareinvestigatedtheoreticallybyconsideringalocalRashbaspin-orbitinteraction.Itshowsthatthespin-polarizedlinearconductanceandthecorrespondingspinpolarizationareeachafunctionofmagneticfluxphaseatzerobiasvoltagewithaperiodof2π,andthatHubbardUcannotinfluencetheelectrontransportpropertiesinthiscase.Whenadjustingappropriatelythestructuralparameterofinter-dotcouplinganddot-leadcouplingstrength,theelectronicspinpolarizationcanreachamaximumvalue.Furthermore,byadjustingthebiasvoltagesappliedtotheleads,thespin-upandspin-downcurrentsmoveinoppositedirectionsandpurespincurrentexistsintheconfigurationspaceinappropriatesituations.Basedonthenumericalresults,suchamodelcanbeappliedtothedesignofaspinfilterdevice.
