简介:Inthispaper,weconductedaregressionanalysisoftheintensitydistributiondataof146earthquakes(M≥5.0)whichoccurredintheperiodfrom1900to2014.Accordingtopreviousresearch,Yunnanisdividedinto3tectonicregions.Thenweusethedataoftheisoseismiclinesinthese3regionstofittheintensity-attenuationmodelofeachregion.SincetherewereafewM≥7.0earthquakesinthis114-yearperiod,thefittedintensity-attenuationmodelofthestrongearthquakeswouldberandomoruncertain.Tosolvethisproblem,weintroducetheRuptureScalerelationshiptolimitingourfittedintensity-attenuationmodelofstrongearthquakes.Wechoosetheempiricalrelationshipofmagnitudeandrupture-scale,whichwasproposedbyLiZhonghuaandQinJiazheng,tocorrectthesizeoftheinfluencefieldestimatedthroughourintensity-attenuationmodel.Comparingourintensity-attenuationmodelswiththepreviousones,wefindthatinacertaintectonicregion,theintensityisoseismalsestimatedthroughourmodelhaveaverageminimumerrorwiththerealintensityisoseismaldecidedthroughfieldinvestigation.Therefore,itismoreadvisabletochoosethesmall-scalezonefortheintensity-attenuationevaluation

简介:Climaticcharacteristicsoftropicalstratosphericmethanehavebeenwellresearchedusingvarioussatellitedata,andnumericalsimulationshavefurtherlyconductedusingchemicalclimaticmodels,whiletheimpactoftropica1stratosphericmethaneoxidationontropicaldistributionofwatervaporisnotpaidenoughattentioningeneralcirculationmodels.Parameterizationofmethaneoxidationistakenintoaccounttodealwiththechemicalmoisturizingactionduetothemethaneoxidationinthispaper.NumericalsimulationandanalysisoftheinfluenceofstratosphericmethaneonthepredictionoftropicalstratosphericmoistureandtemperaturefieldsusinggeneralcirculationmodelisconductedusingheavystormcasesincludingaheavyraininSouthChinaandatyphooncausedtropicalstorm.Theresultsshowobviousimpactofmethaneoxidationontheforecastingprecipitation.Itisdemonstratedthatthestratosphericwatervaporinthetropicissignificantlyremediedbyintroducingofparameterizationofmethaneoxidation.Andpredictionofstratospherictemperatureisaccordinglymodified,especiallyinthelowerstratospherewithin30°N.Theverificationofmonthlymeanofforecastanomalycorrelation(ACC)androotmeansquare(RMS)errorsoverthetropicsindicatedthattheimpactofstratosphericmethaneisneutralastotheforecastofgeopotentialheight,andpositivetotheforecastoftemperatureandwindsoverthetropics.

简介:WaterramjetsusingouterwaterasanoxidizerhavebeendemonstratedasapotentialpropulsionmodeforunderwaterHighSpeedSupercavitatingVehicles(HSSVs)becauseoftheirhigherenergydensity,powerdensity,andspecificimpulse,butwaterfluxchangestheshapesofsupercavity.TouncoverthecavitatordragcharacteristicsandthesupercavityshapeofHSSVswithwaterinflowforramjets,supercavitationflowsaroundadiskcavitatorwithinletholearestudiedusingthehomogenousmodel.Bychangingthewaterinflowintherangeof0-10L/sthroughcavitatorshavingdifferentwaterinletareas,aseriesofnumericalsimulationsofsupercavitationflowswasperformed.Thewaterinflowfluxoframjetssignificantlyinfluencesthedragfeaturesofdiskcavitatorsandthesupercavityshape,butithaslittleinfluenceontheslenderratioofsupercavitaty.Furthermore,asthewaterinletareaincreases,thedragcoefficientofthecavitators'frontfacedecreases,butthisincreasedoesnotinfluencethediameterofthesupercavity'smaximumcrosssectionandthedragcoefficientoftheentirecavitatorsignificantly.Inaddition,withincreasingwaterfluxoftheramjet,boththedragcoefficientofcavitatorsandthemaximumdiameterofsupercavitiesdecreasestably.ThisresearchwillbehelpfulforlayoutoptimizationandsupercavitatyschemedesignofHSSVswithwaterinflowforramjets.
简介:Thermalstabilizationisanimportantprocessincarbonfibers'production,duringwhichthepolyacryloni-trilefibersareheatedfrom180℃to280℃inair.Inthisstudy,thesampleswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffraction,Fourierinfraredspectroscopy,differentialscanningcalorimetry,smallangleX-rayScattering(SAXS)andmechanicaltensiletests.Anewrulewassuggestedbytheresultsofstructuralcharacterizationforthecyclization,dehydrogena-tionandoxidationreactionsthatwereobservedtobedrasticfrom200℃to220℃,from220℃to250℃,andinthelaterperiodofthethermalstabilizationreactions,respectively.Thesizes,shapesanddistributionsofthesealedmicroporeswereobtainedfromtheSAXSdata.Thebreakingelongationwassignificantlyaffectedbythedrasticcyclizationanddehydrogenationreactions.Thebreakingforcewasaffectedconsiderablybythebiggermicropores,especiallyfrom220℃to250℃,owingtothedrasticdehydrogenationreactions.

简介:Purpose:Theaimofthisstudywastoanalyzeandcomparetheeffectsofdifferentsports(swimming,football,basketball,andhandball)onfatmassandleanmassinprepubertalandpubertalgirls.Methods:Twohundredgirls(10.6±1.5yearsold,TannerstagesI–III)participatedinthestudyandweredividedinto5groups:40swimmers,40footballplayers,40basketballplayers,40handballplayers,and40controls.Fatandleanmassesatwholebody,arms,trunk,andlegsweremeasuredusingdual-energyX-rayabsorptiometry(DXA).PubertalstatuswasdeterminedusingTannertest.Effectsofdifferentsportsonfatandleanmasseswereassessedthroughanalysisofcovariancewithheightascovariates.Analyseswereperformedseparatelyin2groupsdependingontheTannerstage(prepubertalandpubertal).Results:Thegirlsofthecontrolgrouphadlessleanmassandmorefatmasscomparedtothegirlswhoplaysports(p<0.05).Thereweredifferencesinbodyfatbetweensports.Theswimmersandfootballplayershadlessbodyfat(p<0.05).Ontheotherhand,handballplayersshowedthehighestvaluesinleanmass(p<0.05).Conclusion:Impactsports(football,basketball,andhandball)andlow-impactsports(swimming)provideanappropriatedevelopmentofleanmassingrowinggirls.Wecanconcludethatpeoplepracticingsportsatearlyagesensurealowerfatmassandhigherleanmasscomparedtothosewhodonotpractice.Theseresultsmaybeusefulasapreventivemethodofadultobesity.

简介:Thisstudyinvestigatesthemigrationanddistributionofthewarm-temperatefishNibeaalbiflora.TheirspawningmigrationandwinteringmigratoryrouteswithinintheYellowSeaaredescribedindetail.ConsideringthemainphysicalfeaturesandenvironmentoftheYellowSea,itappearstobehaveonewinteringgroundandthreemigratoryroutesfromthewinteringgroundtothespawninggrounds.ThefishbegintomigratefromthewinteringgroundtothespawninggroundsinthenorthwestregionoftheYellowSeainlateMarch.TheYellowSeahasthreespawninggrounds.ThefirstislocatedneartheYaluRiverontheLiaodongPeninsulaandthesecondoneislocatedinRushanBayofShandongPeninsula.ThethirdspawninggroundislocatedinHaizhouBayinthesouthernregionoftheYellowSea.ThisstudyfoundthatthetemperatureoftheYellowSeainfluencesthemigrationofN.albiflora,andthatthemigratoryroutescoincidewiththethermalfrontsinthesea.Nutrientsforjuvenilefisharetakenfromthecoastalupwellingarea.Chlorophyllisagoodenvironmentalindicatorofphytoplanktonbiomassandtherebyprovidesthestatusofbiologicalresources.Differenttypesofsedimentinnear-shorezonesarealsoofpracticalsignificanceforthegrowthoffish.Thestudyoftheeffectsofmarineenvironmentsonthemigrationofvariousfishesisnotonlysignificanttothefishingindustry,butcanalsoprovideascientificbasisfortheunderstandingoftheecologicalimplicationsoftherelevantphysicalprocesses.

简介:Background:Understoryplantsrepresentsthelargestcomponentofbiodiversityinmostforestecosystemsandplaysakeyroleinforestfunctioning.Despitetheirimportance,theinfluenceofoverstory-layercompositiononunderstoryplantdiversityisrelativelypoorlyunderstoodwithindeciduous-evergreenbroadleavedmixedforests.Theaimofthisworkwastoevaluatehowtreeoverstory-layercompositioninfluencesonunderstory-layerdiversityinthreeforesttypes(monospecificdeciduousNothofaguspumilio(Np),monospecificevergreenNothofagusbetuloides(Nb),andmixedN.pumilio-N.betuloides(M)forests),comparingalsobetweentwogeographicallocations(coastandmountain)toestimatedifferencesatlandscapelevel.Results:Werecorded46plantspecies:4ferns,12monocots,and30dicots.Canopy-layercompositioninfluencestheherb-layerstructureanddiversityintwodifferentways:whilemixedforestshavegreatersimilaritytoevergreenforestsintheunderstorystructuralfeatures,deciduousandmixedweresimilarintermsofthespecificcompositionofplantassemblage.Deciduouspurestandswerethemostdiverse,meanwhileevergreenstandswereleastdiverse.Lackofexclusivespeciesofmixedforestcouldrepresentatransitionwhereevergreenanddeciduouscommunitiesmeetandintegrate.Moreover,landscapehasamajorinfluenceonthestructure,diversityandrichnessofunderstoryvegetationofpureandmixedforestslikelyassociatedtothemagnitudeandfrequencyofnaturaldisturbances,wheremountainforestnotonlyhadhighestherb-layerdiversitybutalsomoreexclusivespecies.Conclusions:OurstudysuggeststhatmixedNothofagusforestsupportscoexistenceofbothpuredeciduousandpureevergreenunderstoryplantspeciesanddifferentassemblagesincoastalandmountainsites.Maintainingthemixtureofcanopypatchtypeswithinmixedstandswillbeimportantforconservingthenaturalpatternsofunderstoryplantcompositioninsouthernbeechmixedforests.
